We loved our stay at this RV Park. It was absolutely immaculately kept. The sites were large and had nice bushes and trees between as separators. It was quiet and in a great location. Close but not too close to town. Beautiful scenery. 10 individual bathrooms with showers that were spotless. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept everything well maintained. We will 100% be back!

This is a wonderful park. The sites are nice and easy to get into. The bathrooms, laundry rooms, and pool area are always clean and well maintained. The park also had food trucks on weekends. They had a band on veterans day and even axe throwing one of the days we where there. We had amazing views of the sunset every evening. There were lots of kids around for our kids to play with. We really enjoyed our time here. The only critique I have is the park should consider removing the flat paving stones by the playground bench. Rocks get all over the paver stones and it makes it very slippery. My daughter fell pretty hard on it. Other than that, the playground is pretty safe.

Beautiful, very clean & friendly atmosphere. Has big sites for big rigs. Close to iconic National Parks. St George city is surrounded with stunning landscape, very beautiful city. We had a relaxing stay on this park, we will sure come back.

This campground is so special that I am writing the first review of my life. I literally don't ever review anything, good or bad, it's just not my thing. To start with, it's in a beautiful location with trails to hike, mountain bike or walk your leashed dog. Sites are thoughtfully laid out and spacious, bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen. And the showers! Roomy and private, with lots of hot water! The pool is a great place to swim and socialize and of course the pickle ball court is a huge plus for those who play. All of these qualities are important and by themselves a great reason to stay at this lovely campground. But what really stands out about Desert Canyons RV park is the staff. They are warm and friendly and work hard to make sure that each camper's needs are met. Not only are they kind but they are firm and clear in their communications, an absolute necessity when hosting people from all over the country. During my month-long stay here I had a personal event take place that was very traumatic. It would have been much worse without the help, support and embracing by Sue, Penny, Trisha, Jo, and Lou. The kindness of each and every one of these women is not something to be found at just any campground. They made me feel like family. Other campers were generous and kind also, Desert Canyons just seems to attract a nice clientele like this. I am leaving having made good friends. So, would I stay here again? Yes! Am I already planning my next stay? Yes! Hands-down this is the best campground in St. George and probably in Utah and anywhere else that I have traveled. I know that you will enjoy your stay as much as I did!

As a full time traveling family we look at reviews a lot before staying somewhere so we are mostly leaving this to warn other families that may be looking for a place to stay longer term. We have now traveled through 35 states over the last few years and unfortunately Desert Canyon is one place we don’t intend on coming back to. I’ll share the good first because it’s not like it’s all bad. The bathrooms are really clean and spacious. Hot water for days and they have lots of them so you don’t ever have to sit and wait for a shower. The pool and hot tub were great. They do stop heating the pool for the winter which makes it practically unusable but I know that is the norm for many places. We felt that the 9 pm closing time for the hot tub is a little on the early side but again not a huge deal. The spots are level and plenty long to fit your camper and vehicle. The dog parks aren’t huge but good to have somewhere to have your pets unleashed. The location is good, about a ten min drive to major grocery stores and restaurants but also nice to be in the outskirts which gives the place a little more of a country feel. If we didn’t have kids this review would end here but since we do we have more to add. After our extended stay here we feel this rv park would be better advertised as an adults only park. We again have A LOT of experience at different rv parks throughout the country and can honestly say Desert Canyon is the first place we have felt uncomfortable with our kids. There is a very small playground where the kids are expected to stay at all times essentially. There are pickle ball courts but even when they aren’t being used they don’t want the kids in there running around and put locks during our time here to the courts to help keep the kids out. Our kids were at the playground one day with some other kids staying at the park and an employee stopped by to grumpily let them know that the football sitting on the ground there was not allowed as there is a “no balls allowed in this park” rule. There was another time where the kids were told to stay off the dirt while trying to play capture the flag at the edge of the park, not in anyone’s camp spot. There were many other minor things that just made it feel like they will tolerate kids there but they don’t necessarily welcome them. So to sum it up if you are childless or you’re only staying like a day or two then this place might be a great fit. But for anyone looking for a place to stay longer term with kids you may want to reconsider this park. Unless you like your kids to sit inside on devices all day long.

Desert Canyon RV Park is a gem in the St George, Utah area! Beautiful, clean park, easy to navigate with a large class A motorhome. Nice pool and hot tub. 10 clean, spacious, individual bathrooms with shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed 1 night as we were passing through the area, but would definitely consider a longer stay in the future. Price was very good for the accomodation. Decent basic wifi.

Really enjoyed this park- new, clean, amenities and walkable to an entire private trail system. Had a food truck available one night and live music another. Smooth checkin with large spots and easy pull throughs. We had one rude neighbor which wasn’t the fault of the park but did ruin the experience a bit for us personally. Still 5 stars for the park on the whole. Note- they no longer allow certain dog breeds due to a recent incident. We have two service dogs that fall under the restricted list, but had no issues once we explained they were trained service animals. We also noticed several other “aggressive breed” dogs so may just want to check on this before bringing your Pittie.

We have stayed at this RV Park twice and will return—a great place to get away solo, as a couple, or with friends. The facilities and property at the RV Park are clean, well-kept, and maintained. The staff is helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. People we have stayed near our site both times have been very friendly. We love the pickleball courts, OHV trails, biking and walking trails nearby.
